Hi lovers, travelettes, vagabonds, dudes, future employers, lovers, whoever you are!

I’m Phoebe. I am a twenty something Wisconsin-grown girl with a passion for way too many things. I am an entrepreneur, yoga teacher, world traveler, writer, and avid TedTalk watcher.

I thrive on the idea of waking up and stepping into a fresh, new city, and being thrown into the madness headfirst (or usually upside down).

I have fallen in love with over 36 countries across Europe, Australia, South East Asia, China, Indonesia, USA, Africa, India, South America, and Mexico.

Why Transient 20’s?

Inspired by the word Tran·sience /tranSHəns,-ZHəns,-zēəns/ |noun|

  1. Existing for a short time. (And more importantly– being okay with things only existing for a short time)
  2. Adapting to change (Embracing it with open arms).
  3. The ability to evolve and explore without constriction (whether social, geogrpahical. monetary, or others).

The definitions above encompass what Transience means to me, and why Transient20s explains my wanders through twenty-something life. Our 20’s is a decade full of transience and I want you to be able to embrace the roller coaster ride along with me.

Why a blog?

  1. To document, remember, and shed light on the unique experiences, cultures, and cuisine I have had the opportunity to touch, taste, and feel.
  2. To connect with other travelers, bloggers, organizations
  3. As a platform for potential business prospects, as well as a learning tool to hone my literary, writing, video, and design skills.

The journey is part of the experience – an expression of the seriousness of one’s intent. One doesn’t take the A train to Mecca.

Come journey with me, I promise it won’t be boring– it will be messy– and it will inspire you to get out and see the world. You can find me on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and my personal favorite–Vimeo. I love connecting with other vagabonds, homebodies, and welcome new friends always!
